Amin Mohammad Group Extends Support to Families of Deceased Somoyer Alo Journalists

Amin Mohammad Group, represented by Managing Director Md. Ramzanul Haque Nihad, has provided financial assistance to the families of two Somoyer Alo’s journalists who passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic. The contribution specifically supports the families of late chief reporter Humayun Kabir Khokon and late Senior Sub Editor Mahmudul Hakim Apu.

During an event attended by industry colleagues and family members of the deceased, a cheque of 10 lakh taka was presented to Humayun Kabir's wife, Sarmin Sultana Rina, and 5 lakh taka to Mahmudul Hakim's wife, Arifa Sultana. The event was attended by Shomoyer Alo's Publisher Gazi Ahmed Ullah and joint editor Komolesh Roy, among other media representatives.

The contribution acknowledges the vital role journalists play in society and provides support during a period of significant personal loss. This initiative forms part of the Group's broader pattern of social engagement during the pandemic, demonstrating its commitment to addressing emergent needs within the community.
